Welcome to Lefta Limited, where we create and administer tools (Software & Hardware) for the small and medium sized business (SME – Small or Medium Sized Enterprise to be pretentious).
We aim to bring a number of Software and Equipment products to Small Businesses, that jettison the “Unwieldy Bloat and Baubles” – (the frivolous add-ons – of today’s software companies, whose only aim is to get people to upgrade on a yearly conveyor belt using the carrot of extras and bolted on “features” for no good reason – bells and Whistles when all you need is a door knocker.
Does this sound familiar? You update your “Asuage Accounts”, “Squish Books”, “Scream Accounts ” or whatever Accounts Stock Program or Epos system you have – and to use our favourite analogy – Your steering wheel is on the back seat, and your Brake Pedal is where the accelerator used to be. – And all that was added were options you were never going to use anyway.
Our First Product is a Cash Till/Epos system that uses the latest Fanless, Solid State Disk (SSD) Hardware, to provide the reliability small business need and should expect. Version 1 is aimed at the Fish & Chip Shop & Small Retail Sector – but a second version is in development with more facilities that certain establishments will never use.
We are at an advanced stage on 3 other systems which will all adhere to the dual Motto’s of good software …
“Don’t Make Me Think” & “Show Me The Banana”
The meaning of the above as if it needs explaining is that THE user has to understand at any stage what to do without thinking too much, as when a Chimpanzee comes into a room it’s just searching for the Banana.
Software should give clues without reading 50 pages of getting started. If you cannot use a program to at least do your daily “chores” in under 10 minutes of coaching – it is a waste of your time – period!
